Assurant Included in Forbes’s America’s Best Employers for Veterans
A Statista-powered survey of more than 24,000 U.S. veterans led Forbes to add Assurant Inc. to its 150-company list of America’s Best Employers for Veterans.
The Atlanta-based provider of F&I products and programs, among numerous other services in the auto, housing, electronics and insurance sectors, actively seeks out servicemembers in need of employment through its Veterans@Assurant Employee Resource Group, noted President and CEO Keith Demmings in a release announcing the award.
“We are honored to be recognized for our progress in fostering a sense of belonging, engagement, and empowerment for veterans at Assurant,” Demmings said. “Through their military service, veterans bring unique and valuable skills, experience, and perspective to our business.”
