Authorities have arrested 38-year-old Keith Colley of Village Mills, Texas, and plan to charge him with stealing a 2025 Ford Mustang from a dealership sales professional at gunpoint, according to KFDM 6.

Police say that on Friday, June 20, Colley provided his driver’s license to workers at Silsbee Ford in Silsbee, Texas, about 100 miles east of Houston, then failed to retrieve it before demoing the Mustang. Two miles from the dealership, Colley allegedly pulled over, produced a handgun and demanded the salesman exit the vehicle, which he did.

Police spotted the vehicle in nearby Buna several hours later. The suspect was apprehended without incident and the vehicle was returned to Silsbee Ford, according to KFDM 6’s Scott Lawrence and Iman Abraham.

“[Sheriff Chuck] Havard says he expects to charge Colley with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and possibly a gun charge in Jasper County.”
