Force Marketing Executive Vice President Eric Mercado joined Jim Fitzpatrick for the latest installment in CBT News’s Inside Automotive video interview series. The two discussed predictive marketing technology, how it has evolved, what it does and how dealers can take advantage.

“Some of the common things we’re seeing are, obviously, inventory is starting to age now that they have more than they’ve probably had in the last five years, so floorplan expenses are increasing,” Mercado said. “So [dealers] are looking to figure out ways to be a little bit more ‘sniper rifle’ towards aging inventory.”

Other targets Mercado identified for predictive marketing tools include prospecting, advertising, and sales/marketing synergy.
