Chase Auto has named Leslie Wims-Morris as CEO, replacing Peter Muriungi, who will step into the same role at Chase Connected Commerce, according to an Auto Fin Journal report.

Wims-Morris, a 25-year industry veteran, most recently served as president of Chase Auto’s private label captive finance division following her tenure as head of corporate development for Chase’s consumer and community banking business.

In his new position, Muriungi is expected to continue a run of success that began when he joined the JPMorganChase family in 2013.

“We are excited to welcome Leslie as the new CEO for Auto, where she’ll continue to deliver exceptional business growth and the full breadth of services JPMorganChase has to offer our clients and customers,” a spokesperson told AFJ. “Congratulations to Peter and Leslie on their exciting and well-deserved new roles within the firm.”
