NADA Opens Dealer Attitude Survey

Jul. 10, 2026 | |

The National Automobile Dealers Association has opened the Summer 2026 edition of its semiannual Dealer Attitude Survey, seeking boots-on-the-ground insights on a range of industry and dealer-factory topics.

The survey close July 30 and is open to all U.S. new-car and truck dealerships regardless of NADA membership status. Participating stores are issued a unique, reusable code; one or two team members may be listed on each dealership’s record, but respondents complete the survey on the dealership’s behalf.

In a release, NADA directors say their objective is to capture dealer opinions that will inform discussions with factory executives.

“Serving as the auto dealers’ report card to OEMs, the anonymous results allow NADA franchise representatives and Industry Relations staff to address your concerns at meetings with the senior management of each manufacturer.”
