Ford Motor Co.’s U.S. dealers sold 166,373 new Fords and Lincolns in November, a 14.3% increase from the same month a year ago, the factory reported.

The Detroit 3 automaker’s electric and hybrid vehicles led the way with increases of 20.8% and 18.5%, respectively. The Mustang Mach-E notched a notable 38.3% improvement while sales of the F-150 Lightning dipped by 17.1%. By percentages alone, the E-Transit van was the biggest gainer among Ford EVs as fleets purchased 1,240 units, up from 271 in November 2023, a 357.6% increase.

In September, Ford launched its “Power Promise” campaign to encourage EV sales. Designed to reassure consumers who are on the fence about going electric, the factory now offers a free home charger, installation and 24/7 customer and technical assistance, among other benefits.

Ford’s November dovetails with reports supplied by Japanese and Korean manufacturers to the Automotive News Data Center, which reported EV sales gains nearly across the board last month, possibly spurred by the incoming Trump administration’s plans to delete the $7,500 federal EV tax credit for new EV buyers next year.
