Honda has launched Honda Insurance Solutions, a new, licensed agency built to offer competitively priced options to buyers of Honda and Acura vehicles as well as RVs and homes.

Executives say the new solution is powered by insurance broker VIU by HUB and licensed in all 50 states. A release states the company “plans to integrate insurance into digital vehicles sales platforms and throughout [the] customer journey” but does not specify what role dealers and F&I professionals may play in brokering the services.

In a release, Petar Vucurevic, who serves in senior leadership roles with the new insurance agency as well as Honda’s captive finance source, says customers will appreciate the opportunity to purchase coverage from a trusted brand.

“Insurance is a key touchpoint in the vehicle ownership journey, and we aim to deliver a superior experience tailored to the unique needs of each customer, while promoting safer driving and increased peace of mind on the road,” Vucurevic writes.
