Automotive Compliance Education (ACE) will certify its first class of compliance trainers at the upcoming Agent Summit, which will be held March 2-5 at Caesars Palace Las Vegas.

ACE Trainer certification will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, in a private room in the Caesars Palace convention area. It is an invitation-only event, open to agents and trainers who have earned ACE Compliance Officer certification.

ACE Executive Director Gil Van Over III said the idea for the compliance trainer certification arose from conversations with agents at Agent Summit and the Agent Entrepreneur eXchange.

“Agents are excited to add ‘Compliance Trainer’ to their résumés, and we’re excited to have ACE advocates in the field, getting dealership personnel trained and certified,” Van Over said. “ACE Trainer certification is a great opportunity for agents and trainers who want to bridge whatever gap may remain between F&I and compliance training.”

ACE Trainer certification will be led by Van Over and Jim Ganther, an attorney and CEO of Mosaic Compliance Services. The pair will also host live ACE Automotive Compliance Specialist, open to all registered attendees of Agent Summit, on Sunday, March 2, at 1:30 p.m., in Caesars Palace’s Roman Ballroom.
