Keeler, Open Road Buy Three New York-Area Franchises
Keeler Motor Car Co. and its capital partner, Open Road Capital, have acquired Audi Hawthorne (N.Y.) and Toyota and Lexus of Westport (Conn.) from New Country Motor Car Group.
Located in New York’s Westchester County and on Connecticut’s Gold Coast, respectively, the dealerships belong to the 20 million-plus-resident New York Metropolitan Area.
In a press release from sell-side advisor Haig Partners, New Country President Jared Cantanucci says the Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-based group will “reposition” capital to the Washington, D.C., market.
“We love these brands and continue to own and invest in them,” Cantanucci writes. “In fact, we just acquired five luxury dealerships in D.C. that included Audi, BMW, Jaguar-Land Rover and Porsche dealerships. We remain highly interested in acquiring higher-volume luxury and import dealerships in our core markets.”
