TruVideo is now compatible with AI glasses from Meta, enabling automotive and commercial truck service technicians to start and stop video recording, inspect vehicles and log service needs through voice command alone, the company announced.

Executives say the integration connects Meta’s AI glasses with TruVideo’s existing DMS platform integrations, so transcriptions drop directly into the dealership’s workflow without requiring technicians to learn a new system. TruVideo customers had already been using Meta AI glasses informally in the field, notes the company’s co-founder and CTO, Douglas Chrystall, but the formal compatibility announcement means hands-free voice control is now fully supported within TruVideo.

“We built compatibility with AI glasses from Meta into the same workflows technicians already run in their dealership systems, so there’s nothing new to learn and the video flows straight to where the work happens,” Chrystall writes.

Last week, TruVideo announced an integration with Keyloop, adding AI-powered video capture, noise cancellation and automated transcription to Keyloop’s aftersales platform.
