Cars.com Promises ‘Full-Funnel View’ With New AI Inventory Videos

Cars.com’s new AI-powered inventory video solution was designed to work in combination with advanced attribution tools to give dealers end-to-end insights on each customer’s journey from ad exposure to vehicle purchase.

The video ads are VIN-specific, executives note, and early testing shows they are converting leads at double the usual rate. At launch, the tool is limited to new and certified pre-owned units.

Cars.com will demo the video ads — along with new tools dedicated to market area expansion, appraisal and reporting — in Booth 3723W at this week’s 2026 NADA Show.

In November, Cars.com launched Carson, a new “conversational” agentic AI search tool.
