Cerence AI Adds Dual Dealer- and Customer-Facing Agents

Cerence AI will debut two new conversational AI agents — one for dealers and the other for car buyers — at the upcoming CES 2026, which will be held in January in Las Vegas.

Cerence’s dealer assist agent was design to minimize missed sales and service calls with lead capture, demo booking and service scheduling, integrate with CRM and DMS platforms, and produce actionable reports.

The company’s customer-facing “ownership companion” agent offers mechanical issue diagnostics, service scheduling and a promotional channel for trade-in prospecting.
