Ford Joins Hyundai on Amazon Autos

Franchised Ford dealers in Los Angeles, Seattle and Dallas have a new marketplace for certified pre-owned units: Amazon Autos, where shoppers can search for vehicles, secure financing, start their paperwork and schedule a dealership visit.
Ford is the second manufacturer to join the platform, nearly a year after Hyundai dealers began selling new units on Amazon Autos; shoppers also have had the ability to lease a new Hyundai via Amazon since June.
Additional metro markets are expected to be added in the months ahead. In a release, Amazon executives say purchases are backed by a 14-day/1,000-mile money back guarantee and shoppers can access individual vehicle history reports.
“By working with exceptional Ford dealers who share our commitment to customer service, we’re creating a car buying experience that combines trusted vehicle certification with the convenience Amazon is known for,” writes Fan Jin, global leader of Amazon Autos.
