Stellantis Matches Ford Employee Discount, Hyundai Freezes Prices

One day following Ford Motor Co.’s offer of employee pricing for all buyers on most models, Stellantis NV has launched “America’s Freedom of Choice,” offering U.S. buyers a choice between an employee discount or April factory incentives.
The Stellantis campaign runs through the end of the month and includes top-selling models such as the Jeep Wrangler and light-duty Ram pickups, according to a statement shared with Fox Business’s Daniella Genovese.
“This week, we launched aggressive and consistent incentive and marketing support for April, including an exciting and competitive enhancement that will allow our customers ‘America’s Freedom of Choice’ between Employee Price or current cash incentives,” executives say.
Separately, Hyundai Motor Co. CEO Jose Muñoz has announced the factory will freeze pricing for Hyundai and Genesis models sold in the U.S. for at least 60 days. All three OEMs have tied the moves to enhanced tariffs that went into effect this week and could make imported vehicles significantly less affordable.
“We know customers are uncertain about the potential for rising prices and we want to provide them with some stability in the coming months,” Muñoz writes.
