vAuto (div. Cox Automotive) will leverage the power of AI to allow dealers to generate automated appraisals, instant trade-in offers, high-resolution imagery and streamlined service lane sourcing, enhancing the trade-in appraisal process thanks to a new partnership with UVeye.

UVeye’s “MRI for cars” vehicle scanner, already in use at dealerships throughout the United States, will be tuned to the needs of used car managers in need of inventory, executives say in a release.

“With Cox Automotive as a key partner, we’re transforming the dealership experience by integrating advanced AI into the appraisal process,” writes UVeye CEO Amir Hever. “This collaboration is helping us automate inspections and deliver instant, data-driven appraisals — a major step toward bridging the gap between service and sales.”
