Bay Area Group Tests Cars.com’s AI-Driven CRM

Cars.com and Salesforce are testing DealerCloud, the companies’ new customer relationship management system, at California’s Del Grande Dealer Group ahead of a wider release.

DealerCloud is built on Cars.com’s Agentforce Automotive, a platform with built-in AI features as well as data models and security measures. Executives say the new CRM was “developed and incubated” at DGDG’s 15 dealerships in San Jose, Modesto and Salinas. Beta testing resulted in shorter sales cycles and higher close rates.

“Partnering with Cars Commerce and Salesforce unlocks a new level of technical and operational excellence for all dealerships — finally giving our industry access to the same enterprise-grade tools that have scaled businesses across other sectors for years,” writes DCDG CEO Jeremy Beaver. “This partnership enables us to modernize operations while driving performance and efficiency through proven technology.”

In January, Fullpath announced it had begun beta testing its own upcoming, AI-powered Agentic CRM with a select group of U.S. dealers.
