Max Debuts AI Agent Built for ‘Real Work,’ Names New Director

Maximum Automotive Intelligence announced the launch of Ask Max, a central AI assistant for dealership professionals, and the appointment of Daniel “Danny” Forget as director of dealer partnerships.

Ask Max is a freely accessible interface that uses synthesized demo store data to demonstrate the capabilities of the full Max platform without requiring a registration or form fill. Dealers can Ask Max to grade roleplay sessions, itemize out-of-state taxes and fees, and build working dashboards, among other tasks.

“Every AI vendor tells dealers their product does real work. We decided to stop telling and let a skeptical dealer verify it in two minutes, for free, before anyone from our team says a word,” writes Maximum Automotive Intelligence co-founder and CEO Clay Turner in a release. “The medium is the message. If your AI can’t sell itself by working, why would it work in your store?”

Forget brings more than 25 years of dealer growth experience to his new role at Max, where he will focus on building dealer and partner relationships.

“Dealers don’t buy technology; they buy outcomes and they buy people they trust,” Forget says. “What’s different here is that by the time a dealer and I sit down, Max has already done real work for them, so our conversation is grounded in that dealership’s reality, their numbers and their pain points, not in assumptions, guesses or a pitch deck. My job is the partnership. Max’s job is the proof.”
