VinSolutions Upgrade Adds AI Assistant, Predictive Insights, Video Messaging

VinSolutions (div. Cox Automotive) has launched a “landmark” wave of AI-powered CRM upgrades, shipping new capabilities every two weeks as part of an accelerated development model built around direct dealer feedback, according to a release.
The centerpiece is Virtual Contact Assistant, a CRM-embedded autonomous AI agent built to engage and nurture leads, schedule appointments and answer complex shopper questions around the clock, handing off to a human at the moment one is needed.
Dealers that have eliminated weekend staffing shifts report the assistant is generating more customer activity during those hours than their human teams previously did, according to the release. Dealers using the full AI stack report selling 25% more vehicles per month and acquiring 37% more vehicles per month, according to the release.
Additional upgrades include Predictive Insights with generative AI, which identifies shoppers nine times more likely to buy based on Cox Automotive behavioral and transactional data, and in November, VinSolutions Video, a CRM-native tool that will allow any team member to record, personalize and track video messages.
“We asked dealers what would actually make a difference in their day, and we’ve delivered it,” writes Jessica Stafford, SVP of consumer solutions at VinSolutions. “This is just the first chapter in our new playbook.”
In June, VinSolutions integrated with Spyne’s Vini AI to bring autonomous customer engagement into its CRM workflow.
