Capital One Adds AI-Based Fraud Detection to Dealer Navigator
Capital One’s Dealer Navigator platform now features ProtectID, a new fraud detection solution that uses AI to gauge risk by combining soft pulls with fraud models and deep data insights.
“Fraud impacts the entire car buying ecosystem — consumers, dealers, and lenders alike,” writes Sanjiv Yajnik, president of financial services at Capital One Auto, in a release. “With ProtectID, we’ve leveraged Capital One’s scale and technology to build a tool that identifies risk early and helps dealers move forward with more confidence.”
Executives say the new feature is fully embedded in Dealer Navigator and are encouraging users to take advantage of ProtectID alerts and verification status monitoring.
