Capital Auto Protection Services will form a warranty financing company with the help of billing, digital payments and financing technology provider Input1.

In a release, executives say Input1’s Premium Billing System will support billing workflows and program administration at launch and going forward. CAPS owner Andy Hillin says the service contract provider needed a reliable partner to facilitate its expansion into financing.

“This is an important step for our business,” Hillin writes. “We chose Input1 because of our confidence in their platform and their deep understanding of billing, warranty financing and the digitization of the insurance transaction. Input1 provides the foundation to support our growth plans as we bring this new offering to market.”
